Digital Solutionist – Paid Search (SEM) & Paid Social Media

Responsibilities:

  • Cross-functional strategy & thought leadership:
    • Act as a subject matter expert for Paid Search & Paid Social strategies by continually evolving our approach to best practices; vetting and partnering with new technology companies; managing planning and execution tools, and staying on top of emerging trends
    • Develop and drive forward multi-channel digital media strategies and roadmaps aligned with client program growth goals
    • Support higher level, cross-functional marketing strategy projects by providing deep media expertise
  • Performance media management & execution:
    • Lead day-to-day management and optimization of client paid search (PPC) programs including:
      • Strategy and campaign planning
      • Campaign tactics and segmentation strategy
      • Algorithmic bid platform and manual bidding strategy and optimization
      • Strategic partner management (Google, Bing, etc.)
      • Keyword expansion and negative adds
      • Feed management and optimization
      • Test ideation, planning, and management
      • Conversion Tracking
      • Custom analysis, reporting and insights
    • Provide recommendations for website or landing page optimization to increase digital campaign results.
    • Actively identify new testing and learning opportunities within digital to build on expertise and unlock new capabilities.
    • Create custom analysis, reporting and insights that can scale across the channels, including measuring non-digital tactics.
    • Implements, reviews and monitors conversion tracking across digital platforms, Google Analytics and within CRM systems.
  • Client relationship management:
    • Lead day-to-day management of client paid search & paid social programs including:
      • Clearly defining program objectives, tactics, and KPIs
      • Developing and delivering client communication
    • Effectively manage client relationship and establish trust and credibility
      • Proactively identifying and presenting ideas
      • Addressing and answering client questions and concerns.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Desire to be a hands-on multi-tasker that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and drive digital media projects from start to finish.
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrated in the ability to multi-task and meet conflicting priorities as well as successfully manage the teams’ day-to-day tasks.
  • Experience in a client-facing environment. Great communication and presentation skills translating client challenges to campaign solutions
  • 4 years of experience running paid digital media programs (search, social and display) with a proven track record of success driving strong direct response through lead generation campaigns.
  • Demonstratable proficiency in leading platforms, e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Data Studio, Bing, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
  • Strong analytical background demonstrating an ability to understand business problems, analyze trends, draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations
  • Proven track record of success driving strong positive results within a digital or non-digital business context

Preferred

  • Digital agency experience or digital lead on the client-side
  • Previous experience in performance marketing, retail, eCommerce, etc.
  • Bid technology platform experience
  • Mathematics or economics background or equivalent analytical experience
