Here at Hot Dish Advertising, we’re constantly amazed by the tenacity, strength and caring spirit of our franchises across the nation. So to celebrate their efforts, we created Franch Strong™. It’s our good-vibe social movement, designed to unite us all by sharing powerful stories of community, giving back and franching-it-forward on our social channels.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe logo

Tropical Smoothie Cafe made it a goal of theirs to donate 100K smoothies to COVID frontline workers. But they didn’t stop there. They went ALL IN for their community and are on their way to donating 1 Million smoothies.

CARSTAR franchises donated N95 masks for healthcare teams, made homemade masks, collected food bank donations and created signs to show their support for our healthcare heroes.

Green Home Solutions provided tips, facts and services throughout the pandemic. They specialize in disinfection services for commercial and residential locations.

Donatos Pizza completed the largest single order in company history, to help feed 12,000 Kroger employees.

Inspire Brands’ community support was unwavering across all 5 brands. In addition, The Inspire Brands Foundation launched a $1 million COVID-19 relief fund to support childhood hunger and restaurant industry relief efforts.

Buffalo Wild Wings donated meals to healthcare heroes, held blood drives and thanked loyal customers who’ve ordered more than 40M wings through contactless delivery. Here in Minneapolis, they partnered with BreakThru Beverage Group and Molson Coors to provide 5,000 meals to frontline workers at the Children’s Hospital of Minnesota.

Rusty Taco Franchise Owners showed support by providing a taco feast to frontline employees working the night shift.

Pinch-A-Penny is an expert source in helping keep pools clean and safe from the COVID-19 virus. And, stores have added a curbside counter and home delivery for those trapped at home.

Pets Supplies Plus provides free 2-hour curbside pickup, and some stores delivered directly to pet parents’ homes. One location in Amherst, MA, teamed up with Hope Before Heaven Sanctuary to hold a drive-thru pet food collection to help families struggling to feed their furry family members during this time.

Taco John’s franchisees handed out “First Responder Cards” for local first responders to trade in for a free meal, provided free meals to seniors and donated $10,000 to Friday Food Bag. Local Franchise Owner Tam Kennedy sends home meal kits with her employees to help them feed their families.

Black Bear Diner donated canceled orders to the homeless, held a dinner & virtual movie night during the Great American Takeout and sent out bear hug messages to their loyal customers.  

One local Massage Envy franchisee dressed in an inflatable unicorn suit to spread happiness while away from clients. As a brand, Massage Envy has taken extensive measures to ensure protection and safety for their teammates and guests.

Get messy with a seafood boil from the comfort of your own home with Angry Crab Shacks’ carryout and delivery. Every order of PCH french fries provides a donation to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Dunkin’ provided free coffee and donuts to healthcare and frontline workers. Baskin Robbins created family style ice cream sundaes to enjoy at home. And, Baskin Robbins’ Pint Sized Heroes shines a light on ways young people are giving back to their community. The Dunkin’ Joy In Childhood Foundation donated $1.25 million in emergency funding to health and hunger organizations.

Neighborly’s family of home-serviced brands shared tips on how to get through the pandemic. How to sanitize, how to remain calm during stressful times and how to update your space as you spend more time at home.

As part of our Franch Strong™ campaign, we teamed up with a local franchisee at Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More to help support our franchise community to create custom Franch Strong t-shirts. The profits sold supported the local Big Frog shop, AND 100% of Hot Dish’s profits are going directly to Franchising Gives Back, a program created by the International Franchise Association, that supports philanthropic franchise initiatives across the country!

As you can see, the franchising community steps up for one another and their communities in times of need. We are happy to share these stories to make a difference and show our support.
