Job Overview:

  • Our Digital Media Analysts are responsible for supporting the team in the development and execution of purchasing digital media through Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • They will expand their knowledge of the various paid media channels, how they interact with one another and within holistic marketing campaigns.
  • They can gain experience assisting in the management of multiple clients, projects and priorities from start to end including strategy, execution, reporting results.
  • We will work to develop their analytical and critical thinking skills to support the ongoing digital needs of our clients and the team.
  • We expect that they will strive for excellence in all their tasks, enjoy taking on challenging projects with limited knowledge and stay organized to ensure they are delivering the highest quality of service.

  • We require that our Digital Media Analysts have great communication and interpersonal skills, as they work closely with the digital strategists, account team members and help to facilitate collaboration.
  • Their duties include weekly monitoring and reporting on media budget and performance, helping to solve and address project tasks within the agency, and continuous learning to grow their expertise and skillset.
  • A Digital Media Analyst at Hot Dish Advertising is held accountable for the following:
    • Campaign maintenance
    • Campaign set-up
    • Keyword research
    • Digital ad trafficking
    • Reporting and data entry

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Pull data weekly, monthly and ad hoc for campaign monitoring and reporting on media budget and performance.
  • Report on testing operations to help fuel campaign strategy and recommendations.
  • Upload new or refreshed creative variations to digital platforms, learning how to place media through structured ad campaigns and set-up with attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to help inform search campaign and website targeting.
  • Support the team in the management, QA, and optimization of purchasing media through digital platform (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) programs.
  • Assisting in the execution of campaign tactics and segmentation strategy aligned with an audience-first mindset.
  • Keeping a log of changes, updates, and optimizations.
  • Provides recommendations for opportunities that they’ve identified through research or data and reporting.
  • Collaborates cross functionally to share insights with the account, creative and development teams.
  • Complete tasks and projects within our project management tool and clearly communicate when there are questions or concerns.
  • Multi-tasking throughout the day and accommodating unexpected requests.

Job KPIs:

  • Moderate understanding the franchise industry and marketing.
  • Proficient in accurately pulling and entering data, along with creating campaign structure and trafficking ad.
  • Moderate understanding of how to identify, recommend, and appropriately communicate new digital opportunities, not exclusive to media.
  • Moderate understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Super Metrics.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft product suite, including Excel.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and embrace change by showing adaptability.
  • Complete quarterly rocks (or if in situations where a rock cannot be completed, complete it to the best of your ability).

Agency Career Advancement:

  • A Digital Media Analyst can be promoted to a Senior Digital Media Analyst if they meet/exceed the KPIs outlined above and excel in the job responsibilities noted above.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related experience and/or equivalent workplace experience
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience running paid digital media programs (search, social and display) or helping execute other forms of digital campaigns.
  • Previous experience working within an agency or on a marketing team is preferred.
  • Light understanding of industry leading platforms, e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Data Studio, Bing, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft product suite, including Excel.
